Recruiter, Talent Acquisition

The contract recruiter supports the strategic business objectives by effectively and efficiently filling open positions in his/her area of responsibility. This position assists in all recruiting activities to C-level which include: recruiting strategies, candidate sourcing, interview process, evaluation, and recommendation for hire.

Sourcing and Recruiting

Post, update and ensure consistency of all internal and external job postings.

Take a proactive approach to meet staffing requirements to include: attracting, sourcing and screening applicants using a variety of innovative sourcing techniques while staying abreast of developing market conditions and trends.

Focus on identifying strong diverse talent by designing and executing creative sourcing strategies.

Leverage and build internal referrals.

Network with professional organizations and specialty groups to assist in sourcing efforts.

Collaborate with Talent Management to identify internal associates eligible for a transfer or promotion.

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and University Relations team to build candidate pipelines and candidate relationship management processes.

Source and conduct initial screening of candidates through Taleo.

Prepare candidates for interviewing by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation-setting.

Qualifications

Qualifications - External

- A four year college degree.

- Applicants should have at least 2 - 5 years of full life-cycle recruiting experience.

- Experience sourcing candidates across entry level to senior level positions.

- Technical recruiting experience is required.

- General knowledge of employment law and hiring practices required.

- Experience and proficiency using staffing tools such as applicant tracking systems, HRIS systems, electronic job boards, social media sites and candidate sourcing applications.

- Sourcing and searching techniques for passive and active candidates is a plus.

- Demonstrated ability to fill positions within time to fill target, within budget and with a high degree of customer satisfaction.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills.

- Proficient in MS Office.
