MANTECH seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Systems Engineer (L2) to join our Intelligent Engineering Practice. This is a remote position where you will support the Telecommunication Service Provider's MBSE Development project by assisting in mapping a Proliferated Low Earth Orbit (PLEO) global communications network.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Populating and updating the Cameo environment with data and interface models following established templates and Lead Architect guidance.
  • Assisting higher-level engineers in drafting system context and lower-level models for the Initial Architecture Baseline.
  • Supporting the compilation of the Final Documentation Package by organizing model descriptions and documenting standardized technical assumptions.
  • Analyzing and solving a range of straightforward technical problems using standard procedures and experience-based judgment.
  • Ensuring all individual modeling contributions adhere to project-specific formatting and naming conventions to maintain the quality of digital deliverables.
  • Building a working knowledge of MANTECH processes and the mission to improve the quality and efficiency of technical outputs.
  • Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all USSF and DoW digital thread requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of relevant systems engineering experience, or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Expanded knowledge of Cameo Systems Modeler and SysML.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using standard procedures and precedents to resolve modeling or data entry issues.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under a moderate level of direction while continuing to build expertise in systems engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of SATCOM or space-based communication networks.
  • Exposure to Teamwork Cloud (TWC) and basic configuration management concepts such as locking and unlocking elements.

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,200.00-$128,800.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
