We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Engineer to join our technology team. The System Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure and systems. This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of servers, networks, cloud environments, and business-critical applications while providing technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, configure, and maintain server, network, and system infrastructure.
Monitor system performance, availability, and security to ensure optimal operation.
Install, upgrade, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and system components.
Manage cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure environments.
Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
Perform system patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation.
Collaborate with IT teams to support infrastructure projects and technology initiatives.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system configurations.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems administration, or infrastructure support.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments.
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls.
Experience with system monitoring, automation, and scripting tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
