Duties
Help
Actively participates in the management of the activity or organizationby performing a wide variety of clerical and administrative support duties. Serves as the central pointof contact for matters related to day-to-day operations. Applies knowledge of the organization, itsfunctions and regulations to carryout a wide variety of administrative functions related to theorganization and its mission (e.g., personnel, accounting, budget, purchasing, logistics and supply,transportation, security, etc).
Exercises independent judgement. Composes operating procedures andsets internal priorities to generate improvements in administrative services. An extensive knowledgeof rules, operations, and practices, and judgment in locating and selecting the most appropriateguidelines is required. Performs other duties related to office automation requiring a skill in generaloffice machines, software, and the internet/intranet.

Qualifications
RESUMES MUST BE TWO PAGES (OR LESS). QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position.
Administrative & Clerical Expertise: A wide variety of clerical and administrative support skills. The candidate will be the central point of contact for day-to-day operational matters.
Organizational Knowledge: The ability to apply knowledge of the organization's functions and regulations to manage administrative functions such as personnel, accounting, budget, purchasing, logistics, and security.
Independent Judgment: The capacity to exercise independent judgment, compose operating procedures, and set internal priorities to improve administrative services.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in office automation, including general office machines, software, and internet/intranet usage.
Typing Skills: The ability to type at least 40 words per minute.
Education
Education is not required for this position and will not be utilized in determining minimum qualifications or as a substitution for experience unless indicated in the vacancy.
