Summit Mind Mental Healthcare Center is seeking dedicated Mental Health Counselors for a full-time remote position serving patients in Sacramento, California. Work Environment

This position is designed to be fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients in a community health clinic setting. We value flexibility; therefore, some schedule adjustments may be necessary to accommodate patient needs. Standard operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough mental health assessments to determine the needs of each patient and formulate personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique situations.
  • Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions using various methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy tailored specifically for individuals, couples, and families.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational support groups designed to foster community among patients grappling with similar mental health challenges.
  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide integrated and comprehensive patient care, ensuring that all aspects of a patient's well-being are addressed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
