Job description

Summary

At Mental Health Matters LLC, we pride ourselves in providing the premier level of mental health services including counseling therapy and psychiatric medication management for personal injury patients. Therapists are contracted (1099 position) to provide individual and family services during an increased time of need. Modalities include individual therapy and/or family therapy, and clinician will utilize evidenced-based, trauma-informed treatment approaches. Hours are customizable.


Responsibilities

  • Maintains accurate and current electronic health records (EHR) of patient interactions
  • Perform intake including diagnostic assessments for new patients.
  • Diagnose psychological, behavioral, and emotional disorders in accordance with diagnostic criteria and develop a treatment plan accordingly
  • Help individuals and families navigate the breadth of their traumatic experience in a supportive, empathic and collaborative way.
  • Help patients identify their personal coping mechanisms and assist them in formulating strategies for managing daily conflicts.
  • Manage patients on a caseload and develop appropriate treatment services for each individual situation 
  • Assist patients with finding resources to help support their progress, such as referring them to housing services, financial assistance and other benefits


Required

Master’s degree in psychology, clinical mental health counseling, or another closely related counseling program Telehealth certification/trainingDemonstrated personable and compassionate personalityComfortable treating patients 3 years+GPA of 3.5 or higherMust have a supervisor unless fully licensed as independent therapistAbility to work evening hours


Preferred

Passed the NCE, MFT National exam, and/or NCMHCE

  • Fully licensed as LCSW, LPC, LMFT. Will consider LPCA under supervision.

Relevant clinical experience in providing therapy services.


Pay is based on a tiered structure but average per patient is:

Associate-level licensed:
0-20: $65/completed visit 

21-40: $70/completed visits

41-60: $75/completed visit
61-80: $80/completed visit
81-100+: $85/completed visit
Fully licensed:

0-20: $95/completed visit
21-40: $100/completed visit 

41-60: $105/completed visit
61-80: $110/completed visit
81-100+: $115/completed visit
