• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to accurately identify the mental health needs of clients, ensuring the creation of tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies to deliver individual, group, and family therapy, addressing a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns in students.
• Collaborate closely with case managers, educational staff, and psychiatric professionals to guarantee a holistic approach to client care, coordinating interventions that promote student wellness.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support for clients facing acute distress, employing both your clinical expertise and empathetic approach to de-escalate situations.
• Participate in community outreach and educational programs that focus on mental health awareness, aiming to reduce stigma and promote resources available for families in need.

Your primary focus will be on students within various educational settings across Savannah, Georgia. You will engage with a diverse clientele dealing with a wide range of mental health challenges. Fostering an environment of trust and understanding, you will apply your skills to address the unique cultural, social, and emotional needs of each individual, enhancing their academic and personal success.

• Possession of a current and valid independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A completed Master’s degree or doctoral degree in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Proven ability to establish rapport with clients, demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Cultural competence to effectively engage with a variety of ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic groups.
• Strong organizational skills, with an emphasis on meticulous documentation practices.

• Experience working within educational settings or with student populations is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with remote therapeutic technologies and electronic health records is advantageous for seamless service delivery.
