• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students to create individualized treatment plans based on their specific mental health needs.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support for students experiencing acute emotional distress, drawing on your expertise to de-escalate situations effectively.

The role primarily centers on serving students from varied backgrounds, addressing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and significant life transitions. • Possession of an independent and active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to form trusting relationships and ensure effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated cultural competence is necessary for engaging with students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Strong organizational abilities and time management skills to maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.

• Experience working in a school or educational setting, with a focus on child and adolescent mental health preferred.
