What is a remote STD clinic?

A remote STD clinic is a healthcare service that allows individuals to access testing, consultation, and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) through online platforms, phone calls, or mail-in test kits. These clinics make sexual health services more accessible, especially for those who may face barriers to visiting a physical clinic. Patients can often order at-home test kits, receive confidential results, and consult with healthcare professionals virtually. Remote STD clinics aim to provide privacy, convenience, and timely care for individuals seeking STD testing and treatment.

As we continue expanding throughout the state, we are excited to bring our patient-centered, interdisciplinary approach to care to even more people. Our mission goes beyond the delivery of healthcare. We are dedicated to fostering a supportive atmosphere within our team and with our patients. This collaborative spirit is the foundation upon which we provide exceptional service to our patients daily, ensuring they receive not only care but also an experience that reflects our commitment to treating everyone like a valued member of our extended family.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive telemedicine video visits with patients using Zoom
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate with patients, medical assistants, and other healthcare providers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

  • Active Texas NP or PA license in good standing.
  • 2+ years of experience in neurology.
  • Preference to work in physical medicine (patients are often concurrently seeing chiropractic, pain management, neurology, orthopedics, and behavior health)
  • Telehealth experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Verbal and written Spanish skills are a plus but not required.
  • Timely completion of patient charting and documentation.
  • Full adherence to HIPAA rules and regulations including all ethical considerations of the practice of medicine

Workplace Culture and Environment:

Our workplace culture is rooted in support, collaboration, and genuine care. We treat every patient like family and foster a warm, welcoming environment where everyone works together with respect and kindness.

Work Location: Remote - Licensed to practice in Texas

Work Hours: Monday through Friday during regular business hours.

We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k, $25,000 company-paid life insurance, optional STD and LTD, and paid time off. Salary based on experience. Malpractice insurance, paid licensing renewals, and a CME budget are included.
