Project Manager - Lead Commercial Pool Construction for Bradford Aquatic Group


Job Overview

  • Company: Bradford Aquatic Group
  • Salary/Pay Rate: $100,000 to $125,000 per year plus Fixed Bonus
  • Location: Beverly Hills, CA (Travel Required)
  • Company-provided housing and vehicle 
  • Job/Employment Type: Full-time, hybrid. Schedule varies by week, with an average of 2–3 days onsite and 2–3 days remote depending on project needs.

The Opportunity

You will serve as a critical leader overseeing and mark, technically complex aquatic construction projects from contract execution through final completion. This role grants you the independence to drive high-visibility builds for an established industry leader with a proven record of consistent annual growth. You will have the autonomy to manage multi-phase projects backed by a company dedicated to safety, quality, and technical excellence.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Coordinate all phases of commercial pool construction projects from initial contract execution through successful completion.
  • Manage and delegate tasks to subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and internal crews to maintain project momentum.
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust detailed project schedules to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and permit requirements.
  • Analyze project budgets, track change orders, and monitor overall costs to maintain profitability.
  • Conduct regular site visits to execute strict quality control and enforce safety compliance guidelines.
  • Maintain clear communication channels regarding project status with customers and company leadership teams throughout project lifecycles.
  • Resolve real-time construction issues and logistical scheduling conflicts to prevent project delays.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven project management experience specifically within pool construction or the general construction management field.
  • Strong proficiency in reading, interpreting, and executing technical construction plans and specifications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and municipal inspection procedures.
  • Solid organizational skills necessary for managing field documentation, project costs, and team dynamics.
  • Absolute willingness to travel up to 20% to various project assignments as required by the business.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to visit active construction sites.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • 2–3 weeks on-site per month for years 1–2, increasing to 3 weeks/month in years 2–4; travel primarily in the Western US


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of related construction project management experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO), Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent industry certification.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex commercial projects simultaneously.
  • Direct experience managing stainless steel swimming pool construction, acrylic pool systems, or other highly technical commercial aquatic projects strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office, and related scheduling/documentation tools. (AutoDesk will be a nice to have)
