- Tune T-SQL queries and stored procedures (parameter sniffing, excessive reads, locking issues)
- Diagnose and resolve deadlocks, blocking, and contention
- Design and maintain indexing strategies and database statistics
- Optimize ORM-generated SQL (Entity Framework) and address inefficiencies
