Job Summary:
iSphere is looking for a SQL Database Administrator who understands that databases are crucial for smooth operations. This role involves supporting a large enterprise environment with various SQL Server databases and requires troubleshooting and maintaining systems while collaborating with operational and development teams.
Responsibilities:
• database administration
• ETL support
• reporting
• performance monitoring
• security administration
• backup and recovery
• supporting business-critical applications built on the Microsoft data platform
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8+ years of SQL Server database administration experience
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience across production, development, test, and UAT environments
• Experience with the Microsoft BI stack including SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS
• Experience supporting ETL processes and SQL-based data integration solutions
• Strong Transact-SQL development skills including stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers
• Experience with database backup, recovery, maintenance, and performance monitoring
• Experience implementing database security and access controls
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and support critical applications
Preferred:
• Experience with Power BI, QlikView, data warehousing, document management platforms, or large enterprise reporting environments
