• Conduct thorough assessments to identify client concerns, mental health needs, and treatment goals, utilizing standardized tools and personal interviews.
• Facilitate individual counseling sessions focused on a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, employing therapeutic techniques tailored to each client.
• Engage in couples and family therapy sessions, guiding clients through relationship dynamics and communication strategies, and helping them work through conflicts to foster healthier interactions.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that include measurable objectives and interventions, enabling clients to track their progress throughout therapy.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients who are experiencing acute mental health crises or distressing situations.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders and provide practical strategies and resources to encourage self-help and promote resilience.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with all legal and ethical requirements, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and collaborate with colleagues to uphold the highest professional standards in counseling practice.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• Demonstrated clinical experience and proficiency in delivering counseling services in a variety of settings.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and foster a supportive therapeutic relationship.
• An empathetic nature and the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients.
• Commitment to ethical practice, client confidentiality, and professional integrity.
• Cultural competence and an awareness of different backgrounds and perspectives.

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting is preferred, particularly with tools and technologies that enhance remote counseling.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy.
• Experience working with specific populations such as children or marginalized communities can be highly valuable.
