Job Title: Head of Business Development

Compensation: $180,000 to $250,000

Location: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Adswerve is looking for a Head of Business Development to join the Growth team!  We are looking for a strategic, growth-oriented candidate to head and scale our core business lines.  This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing and driving the strategic executive for three key practice areas: Adobe, Google and Emerging Technologies.

The Head of Business Development will be directly responsible for empowering the team, aligning sales and delivery, and driving top-line revenue growth and profitability.  This position will be the bridge between execution and executive strategy, reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the portfolio across Business Development Org (Adobe, Google and Emerging business) for the growth, profitability and performance, ensuring overall business health, scalability and market competitiveness.
  • Lead and drive strategic pursuits, executive relationships and key growth initiatives while coaching leaders within the organization on complex opportunities while mitigating risks and identifying opportunities to meet or exceed annual objectives.
  • Guide the team in developing and executing a robust annual business plan,  covering revenue targets, growth milestones, and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive demand generation, pipeline development, sales execution, and market expansion strategies across all three practice areas.
  • Identify new market needs, strategic partnerships, and cutting-edge offerings to accelerate growth and establish competitive differentiation, taking into consideration customer feedback and business performance.
  • Monitor and optimize key business metrics across practices, including revenue attainment, utilization, margin performance, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Bridge the gap between client-facing sales teams and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution, maximizing customer success and operational efficiency.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and organizational direction for Practice Leaders and their teams. Champion talent development while collaborating with the CGO on significant hiring decisions.
  • Recommend organizational changes, investments and strategic priorities, with material decisions requiring CGO approval.
Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, ideally within a technology consulting, professional services, or agency environment.
  • Deep familiarity and/or direct experience working within the Adobe and/or Google partner ecosystems. Experience piloting Emerging Tech offerings is a major plus.
  • Demonstrated success managing or overseeing P&L metrics, revenue forecasting, utilization rates, and margin optimization.
  • Proven track record of building and executing successful GTM strategies that result in measurable pipeline and revenue growth.
  •  Ability to balance autonomous business ownership with corporate governance, effectively partnering with executive stakeholders.
  • Exceptional coaching and leadership skills with a passion for empowering teams and driving a high-performance culture.

This position pays a base salary of $180,000 to $250,000 per year. This position is eligible for a semi-annual individual bonus based on performance and a year-end company bonus. Wage differential is based on training and experience.
