Firstup has a wealth of data today -- spanning mobile and web experiences, sales conversion, payments, advertising, marketing, and more.We need an experienced data analyst who can help us organize and maintain that data, as well as translate it into action through analyses, modeling, and data visualizations. We expect this individual to be a true partner to our senior business leaders.

Thus, critical thinking and strong communication skills will be essential for success.This role will directly report to the Director of Data & Analytics, and will support all lines of business at the company.What You'll Do:As the Senior Data Analyst, you will go beyond descriptive analytics - you'll drive descriptive analytics and data activation through actionable insights. You will create reports and visualizations for a broad set of business use cases as well as create deeper analyses that answer business questions. Lastly, you will partner with the business to consult on the creation of KPIs to help decision making and find new ways to utilize data to drive business outcomes.What Will Set You Up for Success:A Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience5+ years of work experience in a data engineering, business intelligence, or analytics roleExpert SQL knowledge: experience with advanced querying and data transformationExperience with dbt or similar tool for data transformationExperience wrangling imperfect data setsExperience working with Tableau, Looker, or other business intelligence platformsExperience working with BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, or other warehousing solutions (we are a GCP shop)General knowledge around the data capabilities provided by the Google Cloud PlatformPrior experience analyzing product, marketing, and customer data with some experience doing statistical analysis and a basic understanding of statistical modeling conceptsThe ability to distill raw data and quantitative analysis into business information and insightProactive approach to providing insight that results from intellectual curiosity and an understanding of our customers, products, and strategic objectivesPrior experience in SaaS or consumer technology companyExperience creating data visualizations and dashboardsThe ability to telepathically connect with alpacasJ-18808-Ljbffr
