Spiritual Journey Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time, remote position. This position offers a fully remote setup, enabling you to work from the comfort of your home in Memphis, Tennessee. • Conduct thorough virtual assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and needs.
• Create personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients to address their specific goals and challenges.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions using telehealth technologies, ensuring that clients receive high-quality care tailored to their circumstances.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and adjustment of care plans as needed.
• Participate in regular supervision and professional development sessions to stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.

You will primarily work with pre-screened, low-acuity clients who seek support for various mental health concerns. Our client population varies widely, encompassing individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, and stress management challenges. By focusing on these areas, you will make a significant impact on their overall mental health and quality of life.

• Hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Possess an active Tennessee license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in good standing.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a counseling role, effective communication skills, and ability to manage client cases efficiently.

• Experience with teletherapy and familiarity with virtual clinical tools.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based practices and interventions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload effectively.
