Work Environment

This remote position leverages cutting-edge telehealth technology to provide clients with flexible access to therapeutic services. Our practice operates from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week, allowing for a variety of scheduling options to accommodate both clients and counselors. Our support team is always available to assist with scheduling and client service, removing administrative burdens so that you can focus on what you loveโ€”helping others achieve their mental health goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' trauma history, using a trauma-informed lens to establish a trusting therapeutic rapport.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to clientsโ€™ unique needs, focusing on trauma recovery and fostering resilience.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective treatment.
  • Lead both individual and group therapy sessions designed to help clients process trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and achieve personal healing.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide crisis intervention and timely support during trauma-related emergencies, establishing safety and offering immediate coping strategies.
  • Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and available resources, enhancing community awareness and support systems.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and best practice standards.
  • Participate in case consultations and team meetings focused on enhancing trauma-informed care methodologies.
  • Continuously update personal knowledge and skills regarding the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work as a Licensed Professional Counselor will primarily involve working with a diverse population navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. The client demographic includes both individuals and couples, providing a broad range of therapeutic opportunities. You will have access to a motivated patient population eager for growth and healing, supported by a practice committed to innovative care.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
  • Sound knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach towards clients.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress scenarios.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The offered compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually and includes a sign-on bonus.
