Position Overview

Insight Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our innovative team. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Insight Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to gather comprehensive histories and assess patient needs.
  • Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, resilience-building, and holistic well-being for each client.
  • Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.
  • Providing individual and group therapy sessions, fostering safe spaces for patients to explore their experiences and develop effective coping strategies.
  • Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care.
  • Offering crisis intervention and support to individuals experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their immediate needs are met.
  • Educating patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available support resources, empowering them on their healing journey.
  • Maintaining meticulous client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
  • Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance trauma-informed care practices.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy, continually expanding your expertise.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient demographic, many of whom have experienced trauma and are seeking guidance to overcome their challenges. Insight Therapy serves a motivated client population eager to engage in therapy and make positive changes in their lives. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • A current, valid LCPC licensure in the state of Illinois.
  • A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and treatment modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate approach to clients.
  • The ability to remain calm in high-stress situations, showcasing resilience and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications.
  • A collaborative mindset, willing to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.
Preferred Experience

Although a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in trauma-informed care is preferred, those fresh to the field who exhibit a willingness to learn and grow within our framework are encouraged to apply. Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and strong foundational knowledge in resilience-building techniques will be highly beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, reflecting your experience and expertise. Additional benefits include:
