Person-centered Psychology Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote position is designed for professionals who are experienced in trauma-informed care and are committed to improving the mental well-being of individuals affected by various traumatic experiences. Based in Denver, Colorado, our organization specializes in evidence-based approaches tailored to treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work setting that supports your lifestyle while ensuring you can engage with patients from the comfort of your own home. Our team leverages telehealth technology to provide high-quality care, ensuring that access to mental health services is available to everyone in need. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the needs of our diverse patient population.

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate each patient's history and current mental health status, utilizing established protocols to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting trauma recovery, integrating appropriate therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
• Facilitate weekly individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma, discover effective coping mechanisms, and engage in healing practices.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization for the patient.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available community resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring sound record-keeping practices.
• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to collaborative treatment approaches and staying current with best practices in trauma therapy.

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals who have experienced significant trauma and are seeking recovery from PTSD and other trauma-related disorders. As a therapist, you will work closely with adults from various backgrounds, understanding their unique circumstances and treatment needs. It’s essential that our therapists demonstrate a compassionate and non-judgmental approach, empowering patients to confront and heal from their trauma.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience preferred, with a strong foundation in trauma-related diagnostics and treatment modalities.
• Proficient knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect empathetically with patients and maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a strong comfort level with technology in a remote healthcare setting.
• A collaborative spirit, willing to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for our patients.

• Experience delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions, with a proven track record of positive patient outcomes in trauma recovery.
• Participation in continuing education and professional development related to trauma-informed practices will be beneficial.
