Job description

COMMERCIAL SOLAR SALES | HIGH-EARNING OPPORTUNITY | 20+ STATES

Location: Remote (New Jersey preferred)
Company: Divine Solar
ABOUT US:
Divine Solar is a commercial-focused solar company operating across more than 20 states.
We specialize in commercial and industrial solar projects, working directly with business owners, property owners, and developers. Our focus is on larger projects, long-term relationships, and delivering real value through solar solutions.
We are not a residential-only sales organization and do not rely on door-to-door or retail-driven lead models.
COMPENSATION:
  • Compensation includes a guaranteed draw plus uncapped commission structure.
  • Typical earnings per deal range from approximately $25,000 to $100,000+ depending on project size
  • Additional incentives tied to larger commercial projects
  • Optional base or draw for experienced candidates
  • Opportunities for overrides and leadership roles
  • Compensation is directly tied to production and deal size.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Identify and close commercial solar opportunities
  • Build and manage your own pipeline of commercial clients
  • Generate new business through relationships, referrals, and direct outreach
  • Work with internal teams on pricing, design, and execution
  • Manage projects ranging from approximately $50,000 to $5,000,000+

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
We are looking for individuals who:
  • Have solar sales experience (commercial preferred, residential acceptable)
  • Have B2B sales experience and are comfortable developing their own opportunities
  • Bring existing relationships or have a proven ability to generate business
  • Are comfortable working directly with decision-makers
  • Can manage longer sales cycles and larger deal sizes

IMPORTANT:
This role is best suited for candidates who can generate and develop their own opportunities.
While the company provides support, infrastructure, and resources to close deals, this is not a lead-dependent position. Top performers in this role are proactive and relationship-driven.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Existing relationships with property owners, developers, contractors, or business operators
  • Familiarity with PPAs, financing structures, or tax incentives
  • Experience working on or selling commercial-scale projects

POSITION:
This is a commercial solar sales role focused on larger projects and meaningful deal sizes. The company operates across 20+ states and provides the platform to support production and growth.
High performers will have the opportunity to grow into leadership roles.
APPLICATION:
Please include:
  • Summary of relevant sales experience.
  • Production metrics (monthly or annual, if available).
  • Any existing relationships or industries you have worked in.

Qualified candidates will be contacted promptly.
