Currently, Focus is looking for energetic, creative, and experienced candidates who can help us succeed in our mission to serve an increasing number of districts across the nation. We keep our clients' needs at the forefront of everything we do, and as a company who understands the hard work of today's educators, Focus looks for employees who share our value towards education.
We're expanding our Automation team and seeking a talented JavaScript Engineer to help us build and maintain robust end-to-end (E2E) testing frameworks.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automated E2E test scripts using JavaScript and WebdriverIO.
  • Collaborate with the manual QA team to gather testing requirements and ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Quickly identify, detail, and report software defects to support rapid iteration and resolution.
  • Contribute to improving our automation processes and tools for better efficiency and reliability.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Solid programming experience in JavaScript, including familiarity with Node.js for scripting and automation.
  • Experience with E2E testing frameworks, such as WebdriverIO, Selenium, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem recognition, and resolution skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for understanding web application structures.

Nice to Have:
  • Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO specifically for E2E testing.
