As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Hopeful Serenity Waves Counseling, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate the emotional, psychological, and social needs of patients and their families.
• Developing tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, aimed at improving mental health outcomes.
• Providing psychotherapy and counseling services remotely, ensuring that patients feel supported even in the most challenging circumstances.
• Maintaining meticulous clinical records and documentation that comply with HIPAA regulations, thereby ensuring patient privacy and the integrity of treatment data.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team to facilitate a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring all aspects of the patient's well-being are addressed.
• Sharing vital information and resources with patients and their families, guiding them through the complexities of hospice care and mental health support.
• Staying abreast of the latest research and developments in clinical social work to continually enhance your practice.

Your role will primarily focus on serving terminally ill patients and their families, providing emotional support during a critical period of their lives. You will navigate complex family dynamics, addressing grief, loss, and acceptance. Your compassionate approach will empower clients to express their feelings and fears while also supporting them in finding peace and solace as they approach end-of-life transitions.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of three years of experience in clinical social work, with an emphasis on psychotherapy services.
• Knowledge of and proficiency in solution-focused interventions and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a genuine passion for helping others navigate challenging life circumstances.
• The capacity to work independently while thriving in a remote team-centered environment.

• Experience in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and platforms for delivering effective remote care.
• Previous experience working with grief counseling and end-of-life issues.
