Work Environment

This position will be fully remote, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home. Utilizing our Simple Practice platform, you will conduct virtual appointments, leveraging secure messaging and video conferencing tools to maintain a professional and therapeutic atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, strengths, and areas for growth.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals, interventions, and measurable outcomes.
• Deliver therapy to clients via video conferencing, incorporating effective psychotherapeutic techniques tailored to their unique experiences.
• Maintain thorough and confidential client records within our Simple Practice system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in regular supervision and support groups to enhance clinical skills and self-care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed, ensuring comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Intercare Health Services, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Your expertise will help guide individuals through various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relational difficulties, and life transitions. You will play a crucial role in creating a safe and nurturing environment, fostering trust and open communication to promote healing and well-being.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a mental health clinician (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field is mandatory.
• Strong treatment planning and mental health counseling skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of patient populations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective interactions with clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in using telehealth technologies and comfort with conducting remote sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of direct therapy experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities relevant to psychotherapeutic work.
• Prior experience in remote or telehealth settings is a distinct advantage.
