Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect clients’ unique needs and backgrounds.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring that care is culturally sensitive and personalized.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy—tailoring approaches based on the client's goals and challenges.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation compliant with state regulations and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in client records.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, making use of integrated care strategies to enhance client support and treatment outcomes.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops and trainings, to stay abreast of the latest trends and research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Hope in Motion, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship issues. Our focus is on serving populations that may face barriers to accessing mental health care, ensuring that no one is left without the support they need.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current and active licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical environment, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards in mental health care, essential for maintaining compliance in practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients from various backgrounds and demographics.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team with a focus on integrated client care.

Preferred Experience

• Advanced training or specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and telehealth platforms, especially those used to document client interactions and treatment plans.

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 based on experience and caseload.
