• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients to determine their mental health status, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).
• Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect the diverse cultural backgrounds and special needs of each patient.
• Provide ongoing evaluations of patient progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal mental health outcomes.
• Document all treatment records accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to regulatory standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with patients and their families to create a supportive treatment environment and ensure all care needs are addressed efficiently.
• Educate and mentor students, interns, and volunteers, sharing your expertise and knowledge to foster professional growth within the team.
• Engage in regular team meetings and consultations, contributing to peer review and clinical collaborations aimed at enhancing team development.

This position focuses predominantly on patients impacted by cancer diagnoses, offering specialized care tailored to the unique emotional and mental health challenges they face. You will work directly with individuals and families, delivering therapeutic interventions designed to support their journey toward recovery and improved well-being.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work is required.
• Active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

While specific experience in cancer-related mental health care is preferred, candidates with a background in therapeutic counseling across various mental health settings are encouraged to apply. Our compensation package includes a competitive salary range from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, complemented by a generous signing bonus.
