Work Environment

This role offers the convenience of remote work, allowing therapists to connect with clients from the comfort of their own environments. Utilizing our Simple Practice platform, therapists will engage in video conferencing and secure messaging to build rapport and providing treatment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients, enabling effective treatment planning.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and client input.
• Deliver therapeutic sessions via video conferencing, employing various therapeutic modalities tailored to individual client needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation within our systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
• Participate in regular supervision and peer support sessions to enhance clinical skills and foster professional growth.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams when appropriate to provide comprehensive care that addresses clients' varying needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a mental health therapist at Intercare Health Services, you will primarily work with diverse populations, including teens, adults, and couples. Clients may present with a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role will be critical in guiding them through their recovery journey, utilizing tailored therapeutic interventions to promote healing and resilience.

Qualifications

• A valid license as a mental health clinician in Texas (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT).
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work is preferred.
• Strong treatment planning and counseling skills, with a focus on psychotherapeutic approaches for various populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for conducting virtual sessions and documenting client progress.
• Proficiency in using telehealth technologies and comfort in facilitating virtual appointments.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working as a mental health counselor, with a focus on psychotherapy with teens, adults, and couples considered a plus.
• Previous experience in telehealth settings, demonstrating adaptability to provide effective therapy through virtual means.
• Background in trauma-informed care and culturally competent practices when addressing diverse client needs.

Compensation and Benefits

Intercare Health Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 110,000 annually, reflecting the expertise and contributions of our therapists. Full-time employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including:
