Job Overview:
As a Senior Technical Delivery Manager at Cambium Assessment you will drive the delivery and coordination of complex, integrated online assessment systems, ensuring they meet client requirements through rigorous planning, specification documentation, and user acceptance testing. You will serve as a key liaison between technical teams, program managers, and clients, managing system configurations, addressing escalations, and mitigating risks to ensure timely, high-quality system deployments across multiple projects.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Drive the delivery of highly available online systems in support of one or more assessment programs. Coordinate system delivery across multiple integrated systems that often have cross-system dependencies.
  • Scope and track development requirements for new features and enhancements to support assigned programs. Coordinate gap analysis to identify and define gaps between currently supported product capabilities and program/customer requirements.
  • Own the technical specifications process and documents across all online systems. Work closely alongside program managers, clients, and system technical managers to ensure that technical specification documents capture client expectations and support the successful delivery of the program.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) of online systems in coordination with program managers and system technical PMs.
  • Triage and troubleshoot case escalations and inquiries effectively and autonomously answer client inquiries about system behavior and capabilities accurately
  • Acquire product-level knowledge sufficient to perform these job duties.
  • May personally make or oversee the completion of system configuration changes, in coordination with system tech PMs and following CAI production change control management processes.
  • Lead risk management activities. Work with system leads, program managers, and client personnel to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Own large-scale system deliverables involving multiple applications. Be responsible for planning, schedule, impact analysis, and deployment of these releases.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service and address and maintain frequent and proactive contact with client program managers and client-side personnel.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating an ability to switch contexts as needed and perform well under tight timelines.
  • Facilitate requirements-gathering meetings, including peer review sessions and status meetings with clients and other project stakeholders.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years of experience or Master's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience
  • Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated aptitude to learn basic-level SQL are highly desired.
  • Proven ability to understand technical concepts, including data relationships, basic web application components and characteristics, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, strong team-oriented attitude, and a proactive and detail-oriented nature.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking software (such as Jira) is a plus.
