Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and productionize machine learning and generative AI solutions supporting Digital experience use cases, including conversational AI for Digital and eCommerce platforms
  • Build and maintain endtoend ML pipelines (data ingestion, feature engineering, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring) in cloudnative environments
  • Develop scalable inference services and APIs to integrate ML models into M&R Sales digital platforms and applications
  • Apply NLP, LLMs, embeddings, and deep learning techniques to enable impactful Digital experiences such as summarization and conversational workflows
  • Collaborate closely with product stakeholders, UX designers, DevOps/CICD engineers, and security teams to translate Digital product requirements into productionready AI/ML capabilities
  • Apply an AIfirst development approach by leveraging modern AI development tools such as VS Code (or equivalent) with GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude Code, or similar tools
  • Optimize models, pipelines, and infrastructure for cost, latency, and scale in highvolume consumer facing digital applications
  • Implement Responsible AI practices, including bias assessment, data privacy safeguards, auditability, and governance aligned with enterprise standards
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to AI/ML engineering standards, best practices, and reusable frameworks across M&R Sales Digital development teams
  • Embed ethical AI principles-including fairness, transparency, and accountability-throughout the model development lifecycle
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Data Science, or similar related field
  • 4 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML, with a solid focus on natural language processing (NLP) and Language Models
  • 3 years of experience with libraries such as Langchain, OpenAI API, Hugging Face Transformers, or similar tools for finetuning and integrating LLMs
  • 3 years of hands-on experience with Python and version control tools like GitHub 
  • 1 years of experience with agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, Bedrock, or Vertex AI, demonstrated by contributing to projects involving the design of modular and scalable AI agents
  • 1 years of experience with VS Code (or equivalent) with GitHub Copilot or Codex or Claude Code or equivalent, for AI-assisted development 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Demonstrated solid communication skills with the ability to explain complex AI/ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in Digital or eCommerce team or in a healthcare company
  • Familiarity with Cloud Platform - Azure

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
