This role is within our Security organization, which supports Cloud Security, Product Security, Enterprise Security, and Detection & Response. This organization partners with Product, Engineering, Privacy, GRC, IT, and Legal teams to ensure security best practices are applied to protect the company and Outreach customers.

Are you passionate about contributing to the success of a cybersecurity program through program management?ย We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Managerย to join ourย Securityย Teamย to focus on vulnerability management. In thisย roleย you willย driveย security programsย and execute security projectsย that willย assistย executing a strategy to improve security posture.ย The ideal candidate combines strong technical security knowledge with exceptional program management skills. They are comfortable managing complex security projects, leading cross-functional initiatives, engaging directly with customers, and translating security findings into actionable engineering work. This role requires someone who can communicate effectively with engineers, security practitioners, executives, auditors, and customers alike.ย Location:ย We are open to remote.ย ย

Your Daily Adventures Will Include:
  • Own the end-to-endย Securityย Vulnerabilityย Program across cloud infrastructure, applications, and runtime environments.ย 

  • Coordinate identification, prioritization, tracking, remediation, validation, and reporting of vulnerabilities from multiple security sources, includingย Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Operating System and Runtime vulnerabilities, Static Application Security Testing (SAST),ย andย Software Composition Analysis (SCA).ย 

  • Partner with Engineering and Security Engineering toย establishย vulnerability remediation priorities based on risk and business impact.ย Define and manage dependencies on external teams to improve security posture by getting alignment on commitments.ย 

  • Trackย vulnerabilityย remediation SLAs and provide executive-level reporting on vulnerability trends and program health.ย ย 

  • Drive continuous improvements to vulnerability management processes and tooling.ย 

  • Participate in discussions aroundย vulnerabilityย severity, remediation approaches, and security architecture.ย 

  • Manage the Bug Bounty Program from intake through remediation and disclosure. Manage the bug bounty tool andย vendorย relationship.ย 

  • Measureย and improve uponย the Bug Bounty Program effectiveness through metrics andย processย changes.ย 

  • Manage third-party penetration testing engagements from planning through remediation.ย Manage vendor relationships, scheduling, deliverables, and quality expectations.ย Review and translate penetration test findings into actionable engineering work items.ย 

  • Represent the Security organization on customer calls and talk about the Outreach platform and security procedures.ย 

  • Lead cross-functional securityย programs andย initiatives across Product, Engineering, Privacy, Legal, and Security.ย 

  • Partner with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team to provide evidence to auditors that demonstrate efficacy of security controls.ย

Our Vision of You:ย 
  • 5+ years ofย cybersecurity experience in aย Technical Program Managerย in a fast-paced, SaaS software company.ย 

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, including Network Security, Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, or GCP),ย andย Application Security.ย 

  • Possess vulnerabilityย expertiseย andย theย drive to learn the Outreach platform to be able to have technical conversations with engineeringย 

  • Experience managing technical security programs,ย such asย Security Vulnerability Program, Bug Bounty Program, and Security Exceptions Programย 

  • Familiar with security vulnerability tooling and system integrations.ย 

  • Can successfullyย prioritizeย work resulting from security findings, stakeholder requests, and strategic vision.ย 

  • Proactivelyย identify,ย assess, andย manageย security risks across projects and systems.ย 

  • Experienceย managing external security vendors and third-party engagements.ย 

  • An interest in emerging AI technologies and AI security is highly desirable as we continue to evolve our platform and security capabilities.ย 

  • Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2)ย 

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skillsย 

$130,000 - $170,000 a year
ย 

The annual on target earnings (OTE) range for this role isย $130,000- $170,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications,ย locationย and experience. Final offers areย determinedย through a holistic assessment and will vary within the posted range.
