The standard workweek runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced schedule conducive for both clinicians and patients. • Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to assess the psychological needs of trauma injury patients.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to each patient’s specific challenges.
• Facilitate regular counseling sessions to listen to patient concerns, guide them through coping mechanisms, and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and staff on trauma recovery and stress management techniques, ensuring a supportive environment both in therapy and office settings.
• Monitor patient progress through ongoing assessments and adapt treatment strategies to optimize outcomes.
• Coordinate care with other health professionals, social agencies, and community resources to provide patients with integrated support.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and advanced training to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification.
• Contribute to team initiatives aimed at improving evaluative practices and treatment methodologies for trauma patients.

This role focuses on trauma injury patients who are navigating complex emotional and mental health challenges. You will work closely with individuals who have experienced significant life events leading to distress and may require tailored programs to aid in their recovery journey. Your expertise will guide patients toward achieving personal goals and improving their overall quality of life.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) credential is essential for this position.
• A minimum of three years’ experience working directly with trauma patients is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite to prepare reports and maintain patient records efficiently.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective interactions with patients and colleagues.

• Familiarity with Salesforce and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is advantageous for managing patient information and improving workflow.
• Experience in group counseling sessions or workshops surrounding trauma and recovery is highly valued.
