Responsible for the engineering of all integrated clinical devices. This includes solution architecting, configuring, testing, troubleshooting and implementing, to support the organization's clinical device needs. These devices may include, but are not limited to, vitals, audiometers, payment solutions, and virtual health. Additionally, the candidate will provide advanced engineering support to other support teams related to both existing and new clinical device technologies.
This is a Full Time, remote, Senior Integrated Device Engineer role.
What You'll Do
  • Implements policies and procedures pertaining to deployment, security, maintenance, and operational support of approved devices, throughout the lifecycle of that device.
  • Under limited supervision, provides support to end users for either PC, server or mainframe applications, hardware and associated devices.
  • May interact with network services, software systems engineering, server systems, cloud services, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem.
  • Conducts analysis of business opportunities and leads the evaluation, development, and recommendation of specific technological products and platforms to provide cost-effective solutions that meet business rules, clinical and technical requirements.
  • Provides guidance on operations of solutions and answers questions on function and usage.
  • Leads highly cross-functional device vetting efforts, while following IT and Security processes and workflows from the discovery phase through implementation.
  • Develops technical documents, instructions, and training for support personnel
  • Has technical experience related to studying and analyzing system's needs, systems development, systems process analysis, re-engineering and design, including architectural designs.
  • Provides senior level guidance to non-senior team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Information Systems or related degree, or relevant experience and accomplishments.
  • At least 5 years of relevant IT experience engineering integrated devices in an enterprise Microsoft environment, preferably healthcare.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, SCCM, Intune, Active Directory, group policy, and wide-area and wireless networking in a Microsoft domain.
  • Experience with PowerShell is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of device technologies, including drivers, network components, software, management solutions, and connection methods.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience in a transactional high-volume, high availability production environment.
  • Must have strong communication skills and proficient use of English in written and verbal forms. Must also have experience in creating technical presentations and then effectively sharing that information in a group setting.
  • Ability to obtain necessary application proficiencies within allotted timeframe(s).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and project deliverables effectively.

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $80,000.00 - $93,900.00 annually. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
For individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits. Employees will earn 0.0692 hours of paid time off per actual hours worked or based on standard schedule, per pay period, and will receive 10 paid holidays or an equivalent bank of hours aligned to schedule throughout the calendar year. Paid sick leave is satisfied by the paid time off accrual, detailed above.
