Job Description
The Information Security Analyst supports the Information Security Office (ISO) by assisting with security operations, vulnerability management, technical projects, and frontline IT support. This role provides hands-on experience with enterprise security tools, system administration, incident response, and Security Operations Center (SOC) activities within a higher education environment.
Required Qualifications
Students applying for this position must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Currently enrolled UWSP student in good academic standing.
Basic understanding of networking and operating systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
Coursework or experience in cybersecurity or IT.
Experience with Linux or scripting.
Understanding of security technologies.
Interest in a cybersecurity career.
