Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day functions will encompass a range of essential activities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to identify their unique developmental needs.
• Participate actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring that they are tailored to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Monitor progress by analyzing developmental milestones and adjusting intervention strategies as necessary.
• Build strong rapport with children and their families, offering emotional support and guidance tailored to their specific circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment Practices to recommend strategies that align with each child’s individualized treatment plan.
• Provide coaching and learning opportunities to families, enhancing their understanding of child development and promoting a collaborative approach to care.
• Comply with all Federal and State regulations to ensure safety and quality of services provided to children and families.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position is dedicated to serving infants and toddlers with disabilities or delays, working closely with their families to facilitate developmental progress. Your role will be critical in addressing physical, cognitive, emotional, and communication skills that typically develop during early childhood. The focus on early intervention allows for significant, positive impacts on both the child’s and family’s long-term well-being.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
• Licensure as a LCSW from the Department of Public Health.
• A valid driver's license that enables travel for duties as required.
• A commitment to learning and adapting techniques to address diverse learning styles among children.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively juggle multiple cases.
• Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal, for interaction with children, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be viewed favorably in candidates:

• At least one year of hands-on experience working with children in early intervention settings.
• Demonstrated familiarity with Natural Learning Environment Practices.
• Proficiency in a second language, as bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• A background in coaching methodologies and natural environment teaching strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
