Position Overview

Wild Spirit Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this full-time remote role, you will play an essential part in supporting students within educational settings, addressing their mental health and social-emotional needs while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of students to identify mental health needs and risks, including facilitating intake interviews and creating detailed intake reports.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on each student's unique circumstances and progress, ensuring tailored interventions.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on coping strategies, social skills development, and emotional regulation techniques.
  • Collaborate with educators and school administration to develop proactive strategies and interventions that support a positive learning environment.
  • Provide psychoeducation to students and their families about mental health resources, available support services, and community programs.
  • Remain current with best practices in social work and educational settings, attending professional development workshops and contributing to the continuous improvement of our program.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents who may be facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and adjustment disorders. You will work collaboratively with families to ensure that students receive comprehensive support, thereby improving their academic performance and overall well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Nevada.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity to establish trust and rapport with students and their families.
  • Strong clinical assessment and crisis intervention skills, enabling swift and effective responses to urgent situations.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of direct clinical experience, preferably within a school or community mental health setting.
