We are looking for an SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) Consultant to support a large enterprise HR transformation initiative. This role requires a highly experienced Employee Central configurator with strong implementation expertise, deep knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors EC, and the ability to provide solution guidance across complex HR business processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading Employee Central configuration efforts across multiple end-to-end implementations and possess strong expertise in data models, Position Management, workflows, business rules, and Role-Based Permissions (RBP).
Key Responsibilities:
· Configure and support SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) solutions in complex enterprise environments.
· Design and maintain Corporate Data Models, Succession Data Models, and Foundation Objects.
· Configure Position Management, including synchronization of position data with employee and job records.
· Build and maintain MDF objects, business rules, workflows, triggers, validations, and event derivation frameworks.
· Configure and support Role-Based Permissions (RBP) to meet security and business requirements.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable EC solutions.
· Provide solution design recommendations and best practices during implementation and enhancement projects.
· Support full lifecycle implementations, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
· Troubleshoot complex configuration issues and provide ongoing production support.
Core Qualifications:
· 5–6+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience with a strong focus on Employee Central (EC).
· SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification required.
· Experience supporting at least 3–4 full-cycle Employee Central implementations.
· Strong hands-on experience configuring Employee Central Core HR functionality.
· Deep expertise with: Data Model Configuration (Corporate Data Model and Succession Data Model), Foundation Objects, Position Management, Business Rules, MDF (Metadata Framework), Workflow Configuration, Event Reason and Event Derivation Framework, and Role-Based Permissions (RBP)
· Experience synchronizing position data between Position Management and Job Information.
· Strong understanding of HR data structures, organizational hierarchies, and employment processes.
· Ability to function as a senior configurator and provide solution design guidance.
· Experience working directly with business stakeholders and technical teams throughout project lifecycles.
· Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with Intelligent Services Center (ISC).
· Experience working in large enterprise or global SuccessFactors environments.
· Knowledge of localization requirements and country-specific Employee Central configurations.
· Prior experience serving as a solution lead or solution architect on SuccessFactors projects.
· Experience supporting complex security and business process requirements within EC.
· Active SAP SuccessFactors certification preferred.
· Experience working with distributed remote teams across North America.
