Position Summary:
Payroll Partners is a growing, locally owned payroll and Human Capital Management (HCM) firm serving Northern Kentucky and Southern Ohio. We are expanding our inside sales team and are looking for Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) who want to build a long-term career in professional payroll and HR sales.
This is an entry-level, in-office inside sales role designed for motivated individuals who enjoy talking with people, learning business fundamentals, and helping organizations stay compliant with payroll and employment regulations. You MUST live in the Greater Cincinnati area.
Our sales philosophy is built around education, service, and trust - not high-pressure tactics. SDRs focus on sharing valuable information, identifying businesses that need help, and setting up high-quality discovery meetings for our sales team.
Requirements
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Other duties may be assigned.

โ€ข Connect with business owners and office leaders to share helpful payroll and HR compliance insights
โ€ข Set and confirm qualified discovery meetings for Payroll Partners Sales Executives
โ€ข Maintain accurate activity tracking and notes in Zoho CRM
โ€ข Follow structured scripts and talk tracks focused on value and service, not aggressive objection handling
โ€ข Maintain consistent outreach through phone, email, and follow-up touches
โ€ข Collaborate closely with sales leadership and teammates to improve messaging and results
โ€ข Represent Payroll Partners professionally to prospects and the community
โ€ข Participate in ongoing coaching, training, and sales development
โ€ข Support company growth goals by contributing to new client acquisition

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The position is considered to have light physical demands that require the incumbent to communicate orally, hear at a conversational level and perform job tasks requiring the use of a telephone, fax, and computer.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to continuously (67 to 100% time on job) perform keying functions, grasp and pinch to write. The employee frequently (80% time on job) will be required to stand, walk, and sit. Occasionally (20% time on job), the employee will be required to reach out, twist and stoop. In rare instances the employee will be required to kneel, squat, climb a ladder and crawl.
The lifting and carrying requirements of the job require the employee to frequently (34-66% of the time) lift and carry up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 35 pounds.

The incumbent will constantly work (more than 75% time) indoors in an office environment.
