Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their mental health needs, social determinants affecting their well-being, and establish personalized treatment goals.
• Deliver tailored one-on-one counseling sessions addressing a diverse array of mental health and psychosocial issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions that foster peer support, promote psychoeducation, and address common mental health concerns, utilizing proven therapeutic techniques.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, incorporating measurable goals and evidence-based interventions that align with clients' needs.
• Provide crisis intervention services, including thorough risk assessments, safety planning, and the coordination of emergency resources to ensure client safety and well-being.
• Advocate passionately for clients and their rights, assisting them in navigating complex healthcare systems and community resources to access vital services.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant client records, which include assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and documentation of outcomes in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Safe West Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and socio-economic statuses. Our clients may be dealing with various mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and substance use disorders. You will play a crucial role in supporting their journey towards recovery and fulfillment.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Previous clinical experience providing social work and counseling services in mental health settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective client engagement and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• A strong foundation in cultural competence and sensitivity, ensuring equitable care for diverse populations.
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and ongoing education in the field of social work.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or geriatric clients, is a plus.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and recent therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral techniques, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Prior experience in a community health setting, particularly in remote or telehealth environments.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
