Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ social, emotional, and psychological needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based individual and group counseling to clients, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Develop personalized service plans that align with clients’ goals, fostering progress and measurable outcomes.
  • Engage in advocacy work, ensuring clients have access to necessary resources and support, while promoting awareness of social justice issues.
  • Play a key role in program development and implementation, including contributing to process evaluations and grant reporting.
  • Collaborate extensively with local organizations and resources to enhance service delivery and community impact.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, professional development opportunities, and community outreach initiatives to further strengthen our collective efforts.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, which may include depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and chronic illness. Our clients often come from diverse backgrounds, and you will be equipped to address the unique needs tied to their social environments and lived experiences. Through your compassionate and trauma-informed approach, you will create a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
  • Must possess an active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Strong understanding of social justice, advocacy efforts, and trauma-informed care principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and active listening.
  • Proficient in using technology for telehealth sessions and documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working within a nonprofit or community-based organization is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
