Sevita Health System is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Chattanooga, Tennessee team. Here, you will work alongside psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare specialists to deliver coordinated care to our client base.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate each patient's mental health status, identifying their strengths and areas for improvement.
• Deliver evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to individual patient needs.
• Foster collaborative relationships with other healthcare professionals to formulate and implement comprehensive, coordinated treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and any prescribed medications to increase understanding and compliance.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, applying evidence-based modalities to improve mental health outcomes.
• Engage in the development of personalized treatment plans in tandem with the treatment team, incorporating patient goals and preferences to enhance their engagement in the recovery process.
• Serve as an advocate for patients, helping them navigate the intricate mental health system and ensuring their rights are upheld.
• Lead therapeutic groups and psychoeducational sessions, alongside discharge planning to prepare patients for the transitions to ongoing care or independence.

The primary population served within our Detox Center includes individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. We aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where patients can work towards recovery with the support of skilled professionals who understand their needs. In this role, you will directly impact their journey by offering empathy, support, and expert guidance.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
• In-depth understanding of various mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention strategies.
• The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve comprehensive patient care.

• Previous experience in mental health settings, preferably within substance use treatment programs.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools to manage patient information efficiently.
• Experience facilitating group therapies and leading psychoeducation sessions.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, with a sign-on bonus available to help you transition into our team.
