What is a Remote RN House Supervisor?

Remote RN House Supervisors are experienced registered nurses who oversee the clinical operations and nursing staff of a healthcare facility during their shift, but do so remotely using technology. They provide leadership, coordinate patient care, handle staffing issues, and respond to emergencies or escalations, all from a location outside the physical facility. Their role is crucial in ensuring quality patient care, supporting on-site staff, and maintaining compliance with policies and procedures, especially during off-hours or in facilities with limited in-person supervision.

What does a Remote RN House Supervisor do?

Remote RN House Supervisors utilize digital tools such as secure messaging, video calls, and electronic health records to stay connected with on-site teams. They monitor patient care, coordinate staffing needs, and provide guidance on complex clinical situations, often in real time. Building trust and clear communication are key, as supervisors must ensure continuity of care and resolve issues quickly without being physically present. Regular check-ins, virtual huddles, and strong organizational skills help overcome the challenges of remote leadership and maintain high standards of patient safety.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote RN House Supervisor?

To thrive as a Remote RN House Supervisor, you need advanced nursing expertise, leadership experience, and an active RN license, often supported by a BSN or higher degree. Familiarity with telehealth platforms, hospital information systems, and clinical documentation software is typically required. Outstanding decision-making, communication, and crisis management skills help you effectively oversee nursing staff and patient care remotely. These competencies are crucial to ensure patient safety and quality care while coordinating teams and resolving issues from a distance.

Job description

Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) or Registered Marriage & Family Therapist Intern (RMFTI)

Fearless CounSouling | Remote (Florida)

Become the therapist you were meant to be.

Fearless CounSouling is not a traditional group practice.

We are a learning community built around one central belief:

People are not broken. They adapted.

Everything we do—from therapy sessions to supervision, case consultation, documentation, and training—is guided by this philosophy.

We're seeking a Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) or Registered Marriage & Family Therapist Intern (RMFTI) who has at least one year remaining before licensure and is looking for more than a place to collect hours.

This position is designed for someone who wants to develop not only clinical skills, but also a deeper understanding of themselves, the therapeutic relationship, and the unique therapist they are becoming.

If our website feels like someone finally put words to how you've always wanted to practice therapy, we'd love to meet you. Please visit us at www.fearless-counsouling.com before applying.

Who This Opportunity Is For

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Find yourself asking How do people become who they become?
  • Believe curiosity is more powerful than judgment.
  • Want supervision that develops you, not just your documentation.
  • Enjoy thinking deeply about people, relationships, development, attachment, and healing.
  • Are excited to discover your own authentic therapeutic voice rather than trying to copy someone else's.
  • Value humility, lifelong learning, and meaningful conversations.
  • Resonate with the philosophy and approach shared throughout the Fearless CounSouling website.

This opportunity is best suited for interns who still have time to grow within the practice. We are intentionally seeking clinicians with approximately one year or more remaining before licensure so we can invest deeply in your development.

What You'll Do

Your primary responsibilities are intentionally simple:

  • Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy to clients.
  • Participate actively in our learning community through supervision, consultation, and ongoing professional development.
  • Complete timely, ethical, insurance-compliant documentation.
  • Continue developing both your clinical competence and your understanding of yourself as a therapist.

What You'll Receive

  • Weekly clinical supervision from a Florida Qualified Supervisor.
  • An immersive learning environment centered on therapist development.
  • Consultation that explores both client work and the therapist's experience in the room.
  • Opportunities to deepen your understanding of attachment, trauma, nervous system regulation, Internal Family Systems (IFS), the Enneagram, and other evidence-informed and reflective frameworks that inform our model.
  • Administrative support, marketing support, and an established referral base.
  • A collaborative community committed to growth rather than competition.

Compensation

  • $50 per completed 53-minute therapy session.

About Fearless CounSouling

At Fearless CounSouling, we believe healing begins with understanding.

Our work is grounded in developmental psychology, attachment theory, trauma-informed care, nervous system science, and a philosophy that views every person through the lens of adaptation rather than pathology.

We don't believe therapists should spend their careers trying to become someone else's version of a good clinician.

We believe the best therapists know themselves deeply, think critically, remain endlessly curious, and develop an approach that reflects both sound clinical practice and their own authentic way of being.

If that resonates with you, we'd love to hear your story.

Interested?

If you've spent time exploring our website and found yourself thinking, "This is the kind of therapist I want to become,"we'd love to hear from you.

Please email your résumé along with a few paragraphs sharing:

  • What drew you to Fearless CounSouling.
  • Why this opportunity resonates with you.
  • What you hope to gain during your remaining time as a registered intern.
  • Anything else you'd like us to know about your journey as a therapist.

We encourage you to spend some time exploring our website before applying. Our philosophy is at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for clinicians who genuinely connect with this approach to therapy, supervision, and personal growth.

Licensed Therapists

While our primary focus is building our internship learning community, we are also open to connecting with licensed therapists whose philosophy aligns with our model. If you believe your approach resonates with Fearless CounSouling and you'd love to be part of a learning community, we'd love to hear from you as well. Please feel free to reach out and introduce yourself.
