As a Licensed Master Social Worker, you will assume numerous responsibilities essential for client support and advocacy, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their social, emotional, and environmental challenges.
• Developing personalized service plans that include clear goals, interventions, and mechanisms for progress monitoring.
• Providing individual and family counseling for clients dealing with a variety of life issues.
• Connecting clients with community resources, empowering them to overcome barriers and access vital support services.
• Executing crisis interventions and risk assessments when necessary, alongside developing safety plans for high-risk individuals.
• Collaborating with various community agencies and organizations to ensure a holistic approach to client care and to advocate effectively on their behalf.

Your work will directly impact a diverse range of clients facing acute challenges such as homelessness, mental health issues, domestic violence, and addiction. You will collaborate closely with clients of various backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent and trauma-informed care while advocating for their rights and well-being.

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
• Excellent communication skills, strong cultural competence, and a demonstrated ability to problem-solve in complex situations.
• Knowledge of community resources, social justice issues, and trauma-informed practices.

While at least two years of experience is required, previous exposure to social work in a clinical or community-setting is preferred. Experience with case management, counseling, or crisis intervention will be highly advantageous to your application.
