Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Master Social Worker at Brighter Life Social Work, you will undertake a variety of key responsibilities, which include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to accurately identify clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs.
  • Developing personalized service plans that outline specific goals, intervention strategies, and methods for monitoring client progress.
  • Providing empathetic counseling and direct support to individuals and families encountering a range of life challenges, facilitating their journey toward resolution and healing.
  • Collaborating with clients to tailor service plans that connect them to appropriate community resources, enhancing their support networks.
  • Implementing crisis intervention techniques, conducting risk assessments, and developing safety plans to protect clients in precarious situations.
  • Formulating partnerships with local community agencies and organizations to coordinate comprehensive services that advocate for client needs effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve include individuals and families facing a variety of challenges such as mental health disorders, substance abuse issues, and domestic crises. Your work will be instrumental in helping these vulnerable populations access necessary resources, navigate complex social systems, and restore their sense of well-being and independence.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program, ensuring a strong foundation in social work principles and practices.
  • An active state licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Texas, affirming your professional credentials.
  • Strong expertise in social justice issues, community resources, and trauma-informed care, equipping you to address the unique needs of clients effectively.

Preferred Experience
