What You Will Do

  • Procure parts, tools, fixtures, and equipment for engineering labs
  • Supports CAMELS (Component and Materials Evaluation Lab) lab’s request for evaluation material
  • Support engineering proof-of-concept and proof-of-function prototypes
  • Evaluates engineering procurement needs and uses available tools to determine the most effective procurement strategy ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Acts as the primary liaison for the material and supply organization, partnering with program, operations, engineering, and planning teams to guide and align supply chain processes
  • Reviews and manages a variety of materials, supplies, and services in support of program requirements
  • Evaluates needs and recommends suppliers aligned to program objectives, ensuring execution through order completion
  • Provides supply chain support across multiple sites for Mission Systems ensuring consistent execution of procurement processes
  • Partners with procurement teams prioritize available material, supplier constraints, and high-risk issues impacting program schedule
  • Analyzes complex supply chain challenges, applying sound judgment to develop solutions aligned with established policies and organizational objectives
  • Demonstrates the ability to independently, establish priorities and managing activities to meet program timelines and deliverables
  • Serves as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with senior personnel on cross-functional supply chain initiatives
  • Utilizes ERP systems and standard supply chain processes to manage procurement execution and drive material outcomes across assigned commodities and programs

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and less than 2 years prior relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience utilizing SAP or similar ERP systems in a supply chain or procurement environment
  • Experience supporting material readiness, supplier coordination, or Bill of Material (BOM) management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage detailed work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders across all levels of the organization
  • Experience coordinating supply chain activities across multiple sites or organizations

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
