Job description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist specializing in telehealth services, supporting students within a school setting in Quincy, MA. This role focuses on delivering psychological assessments, counseling, and consultative support through virtual platforms, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations remotely to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Provide telehealth counseling sessions to students, addressing social, emotional, and academic challenges.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of assessments, interventions, and communications.
  • Offer consultation regarding behavioral interventions and strategies for remote learning environments.
  • Participate in virtual meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions to advocate for student well-being.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Proven experience delivering telehealth psychological services in an educational context.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies suitable for remote application.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively through virtual platforms.
  • Familiarity with current laws and ethical guidelines related to school psychology and telehealth.

Location: Quincy, MA (Remote telehealth services within the school environment)

Contract Terms: Temporary assignment with opportunities for extension based on performance and program needs.
