Job description

Description
The Regional Field Manager (RFM) provides direct supervision, operational leadership, and performance oversight of field adjusters within an assigned region. This role is accountable for ensuring field service excellence by supporting timely claim handling, compliance, adjuster development, and QA integration. RFM collaborates across departments including QA, Dispatch, Inventory Specialists, and Resource Management. They also support the Client Manager by addressing trends, adjuster escalations, and territory-level QA performance.
Requirements

Team Leadership and Supervision
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to a team of field adjusters across multiple claim types and carriers.
  • Assign workloads, balance resources, and monitor daily throughput.
  • Maintain responsiveness to phone, email, and chat communications from field staff.
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings and monthly check-ins in coordination with Client Manager.
  • Support onboarding, performance evaluations, and timely resolution of adjusted needs.

Field Operations Oversight
  • Coordinate adjuster assignments, approvals for travel/mileage, and field resource requests (e.g., ladder assists).
  • Monitor claim lifecycle progression: non-contacted, inspected-not-returned, aged files, and escalations. \
  • Participate in deployment readiness and onboarding per company SOPs.
  • Collaborate with Inventory Specialists or directly manage inventory where none are assigned.
  • Attend weekly management and QA team calls.

Quality Assurance Collaboration
  • Serve as primary QA contact for territory-specific reviewers.
  • Drive performance management by identifying and escalating low performers.
  • Conduct ride-alongs, file reviews, and participate in initial reviews for new adjusters or underperformers.
  • Complete initial, secondary and quick-hit reviews as needed.
  • Collaborate with QA Team Lead and Client Manager on QA trends and reviewer feedback.
  • Support timeline adherence for QA follow-up, escalations, and contact/upload accuracy.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • Track productivity metrics, file progression, contact/return timeframes, and claim quality indicators.
  • Update adjuster rankings in coordination with QA TL and Client Manager.
  • Contribute to carrier reporting, scoreboard metrics, and evaluations.
  • Use live dashboards/spreadsheets to track and action claim and adjuster statuses.

Client & Carrier Program Support
  • Communicate large loss/severity concerns to the Client Manager.
  • Ensure carrier-specific programs are supported and followed (e.g., ITEL, QA Assist, Xpert).
  • Collaborate with the Client Manager on escalations and service delivery improvements.

Required education and experience
  • 3+ years in field property adjusting, leadership, or operational oversight roles
  • Familiarity with QA processes, CAT/daily claims, and adjuster development
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, particularly with data analysis tools and software.
  • Experience with field IA property claims processes and carrier-client management.

Preferred education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communication, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in the insurance or property claims industry.
