Job description

We are looking for a Recruiter to support ongoing hiring needs for engineering, manufacturing, and other technical positions in a fully remote environment. This Long-term Contract opportunity is based in California and is ideal for someone who can manage recruiting activities independently while maintaining strong collaboration with hiring leaders. The role requires part-time availability of 30 hours per week with coverage aligned to Pacific Time, along with a solid background in technical talent acquisition and full-cycle recruiting.
Responsibilities:
• Lead recruiting efforts from initial intake discussions through offer coordination for technical and manufacturing-related openings.
• Work closely with hiring managers to clarify position expectations, candidate profiles, and evaluation standards before launching searches.
• Build targeted sourcing plans using job boards, networking channels, database searches, and other recruiting methods to attract talent with experience in relevant fields.
• Create and manage job advertisements that accurately reflect role requirements and help generate strong applicant pipelines.
• Assess incoming applications, conduct candidate screenings, and advance the most suitable professionals for further consideration.
• Coordinate interview logistics and help prepare interview teams with structured questions and selection tools.
• Participate in interviews with business leaders and provide feedback to support informed hiring decisions.
• Maintain recruiting activity within applicant tracking systems and ensure hiring practices follow applicable employment laws and company guidelines.• At least 2 years of experience in technical recruiting or corporate recruiting environments.
• Proven success recruiting for technical positions such as engineering leadership, manufacturing engineering, or related technical roles.
• Demonstrated knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer-stage support.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting with strong self-direction and time management.
• Availability to work part-time hours totaling 30 hours per week in alignment with Pacific Time.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems and other recruiting tools to manage hiring workflows.
• Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
