Work Environment

Our Detox Center setting provides a structured yet compassionate environment for individuals undergoing withdrawal and recovery, where your expertise will be key to successful treatment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of clients entering the detox program.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) aimed at addressing the family’s needs during treatment.
• Facilitate support sessions for families to strengthen their coping strategies and emotional well-being.
• Monitor client outcomes and adjust treatment strategies in alignment with established best practices.
• Administer evidence-based interventions while building rapport with clients and their families to create a nurturing therapeutic environment.
• Utilize the coaching model approach and natural environment teaching techniques to enhance engagement and learning.
• Maintain adherence to all federal and state regulations to ensure the safety and health of clients and staff.
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans comprehensively to support continuity of care.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care that addresses all aspects of a client’s health.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current on best practices in social work and behavioral health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our Detox Center, you will work primarily with individuals facing challenges related to substance use and addiction. This role requires sensitivity and skill in addressing the dynamic needs of diverse populations, including those from various cultural backgrounds. Your focus will include empowering clients and their families, offering them guidance and support as they navigate their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work is required to ensure a high standard of care.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Colorado is mandatory.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary for potential onsite visits or home evaluations.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt therapy and intervention techniques to suit various client learning styles.
• Strong organizational skills and time management are essential for managing caseloads efficiently.
• Exceptional communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
• A commitment to maintaining the dignity and respect of clients across all interactions.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of hands-on experience working with children in early intervention settings.
• Expertise in Natural Learning Environment Practices is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
