Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children to identify developmental needs.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).
  • Monitoring and evaluating outcomes through regular check-ins with families, ensuring their continuous progress and well-being.
  • Providing evidence-based supportive services to families, enhancing their understanding and skills to support their child’s development.
  • Engaging in Natural Learning Environment Practices, creating individualized plans that align with families’ priorities.
  • Collaborating with team members and community resources to maintain a thorough and supportive service network for families.
  • Adhering to all Federal and State regulations to ensure compliance and quality of service.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specializes in supporting young children, particularly infants and toddlers, who experience developmental delays or disabilities. The target population includes families seeking guidance and support to aid their children in achieving critical milestones in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication domains. Your empathetic approach and expertise will directly impact the lives of these families, providing them with the tools and support they need during these formative years.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
  • Current LCSW licensure approved by the Department of Public Health.
  • A valid driver's license to facilitate travel when required.
  • Strong commitment to adapting your approach to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of each child and family.
  • Demonstrated skills in building rapport with children, families, and team members.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience is highly preferred:

  • At least one year of direct experience working with children in an early intervention setting.
  • A deep understanding and commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices.
  • Bilingual abilities that enhance communication with diverse family backgrounds to ensure better service delivery.
Compensation and Benefits
