As an LCSW, your primary responsibility will be to provide psychotherapy and counseling services tailored to the unique needs of your clients. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to thoroughly understand the mental health concerns of each client.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other solution-focused methodologies.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.
• Working collaboratively with a treatment team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Engaging in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance clinical practices and address complex treatment scenarios.
• Providing education and support to clients and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health resources and treatment options.
• Staying informed about the latest developments and research in mental health to continuously enhance clinical expertise.

Your work will directly impact a varied patient demographic at our community health clinic, where clients may present with a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. You will be instrumental in applying therapeutic techniques that foster resilience and empower clients to achieve their treatment goals.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited academic institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• At least three years of experience in a clinical setting providing psychotherapy services.
• Proficiency in solution-based therapeutic interventions and techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect authentically with clients.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
• Capacity to work effectively within a team-oriented environment, fostering collaborative treatment approaches.

• Experience working in a community health or outpatient clinic.
• Familiarity with health records management systems and electronic documentation.
• Knowledge of local community resources for mental health support.
• A background in family therapy or group therapy methodologies.
