SkillBridge Intern - Nutanix Infrastructure & Cloud Services
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, SkillBridge-eligible candidate to join our infrastructure and cloud services team through a hands-on training and internship program focused on Nutanix technologies, virtualization, and modern data center environments. This opportunity is designed for transitioning service members who are interested in building a career in IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, virtualization, and consulting services.
The program combines structured technical training, mentoring, hands-on lab work, and real-world project shadowing to prepare participants for a future role supporting enterprise customers in hybrid cloud and virtualization environments.
No prior Nutanix experience is required. Candidates should possess a strong interest in technology, willingness to learn, and a professional, customer-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in structured technical training focused on virtualization, hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), and Nutanix technologies
  • Learn fundamentals of enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, storage, networking, and virtual machine management
  • Assist with deployment, configuration, and support of virtualization and cloud environments
  • Shadow experienced engineers during remote and onsite customer projects
  • Support infrastructure implementation, migration, and upgrade activities
  • Participate in hands-on labs and guided troubleshooting exercises
  • Learn data protection, disaster recovery, and system monitoring best practices
  • Assist with hardware installation activities including racking, stacking, and basic cabling when required
  • Develop customer service and consulting skills through team collaboration and client interaction
  • Work toward Nutanix industry certifications during the internship program
